iDumpPod2Backup is an app that allows you to back up songs and playlists that you have stored on your iPod.

Unlike other programs, iDump sets itself apart for allowing you to select the files that you want to backup. It doesn't back up everything -- just what you want it to.

Just plug your iPod into the PC and iDumpPod2Backup will take care of the rest. The app automatically detects the device and displays its contents.

Another interesting feature is the ability to configure the program for unattended backups, which makes it so you don't have to be at the computer. It is ideal for when you have to sync multiple files, and you want to avoid confirmation messages, such as overwriting confirmations, etc.

Lastly, if you choose a specific playlist, all the assigned songs will be copied to that playlist.
